Another of those affected is Vladimir Potanin, the richest man in Russia, who lost $ 3,000 million, after the shares of Norilsk Nickel plummeted by 26%.
Also, Aleksey Mordashov was down $4.2 million; Vladimir Lisin for $3.9 million; Leonid Mikhelson for $3.8 million and Alisher Usmanov for $1.2 million.

It should be noted that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, had claimed that economic sanctions would be imposed on Russia’s elite and their relatives. “Russia will not be able to make money from the West and will not be able to trade its debt on our markets or on European markets”, the president said in a statement.
The United Kingdom, for its part, imposed sanctions on banks and millionaires linked to this government, including Rossiya Bank, IS Bank, General Bank, Promsvyazbank and the Black Sea Bank.
