Roskomnadzor will restrict access to the application of the American Internet resource Zello to Russians due to the distribution of false information about a special operation in Ukraine. On Sunday, March 6, reports TASS.
On March 4, Roskomnadzor demanded that the Zello administration stop spreading fakes about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces (AF), but this demand was not fulfilled. In this regard, access to this application in Russia will be limited for 24 hours.
Earlier it was reported that Roskomnadzor decided to block the social network Facebook (Meta Platforms) in Russia. This measure was taken due to limited access to Russian media.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in the Donbass. Thus, Russia responded to requests for military assistance from the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR).
