Eduardo Paes (PSD), current mayor of Rio de Janeiro, leads the race for City Hall with 51% voting intentions, while the delegate Alexandre Ramagem (PL), has 11%. The data are from a survey by Quaest held from June 13th to 16th and published this Tuesday (June 18th, 2024).
1,145 people were interviewed. The confidence interval is 95%. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, plus or minus. The survey is registered in the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under No. RJ-04459/2024.
Next, the federal deputy appears Tarcisio Motta (Psol), with 8% of voting intentions; Rodrigo Amorim (Union) has 4% and the federal deputy Marcelo Queiroz (PP) appears at 2%.
The undecided are 4% of those interviewed. Those who indicate a blank or invalid vote, or those who do not intend to vote in the 2024 municipal elections, account for 20%.
2nd round
The Quaest survey also showed a possible 2nd round between mayor Eduardo Paes and deputy Ramagem. In the scenario, Paes has 57% of voting intentions, while Ramagem has 27%. Undecided were 2%, and white and null, 14% of respondents.
According to the company that carried out the survey, the cost of the study was R$120,792.00. The amount was paid by Tupi Radio.
