Recently, Polygon had the opportunity to visit the Ninja Theory offices to learn a little more about Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, which will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC at the end of next May. However, there was one detail that caught a lot of attention, since Tameem Antoniades, co-founder of the studio, was not present. After a couple of questions, Xbox confirmed that Antoniades no longer works at Ninja Theory
At the moment there are no clear details about this decision. Neither Ninja Theory nor Tameem Antoniades made any statement to make this information known to the general public, which some people have taken as a bad sign for Senua's Saga: Hellblade IIalthough at the moment there is no clear information.
Antoniades is the co-founder of Ninja Theory, a studio that opened its doors in 2000. Over the years, the developer took the role of writer and director on titles like Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, DmC: Devil May Cry and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
According to Polygon, Antoniades was involved in the initial development of Senua's Saga: Hellblade IIand The title is currently led by three creative leaders: Dan Attwell, Environmental Art Director, Mark Slater-Tunstill, Visual Effects Director, and David Garcia, Audio Director.
At the moment there is no official comment from Xbox or Ninja Theory, and it is unknown if they will do so in the future. We remind you that Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 21, 2024. On related topics, this is the resolution and frame rate of this game. Editor's Note:
The fact that the director left the studio a long time ago and we don't know about it can be seen as something very negative, since it gives rise to rumors about his behavior, or internal fights. We just have to wait for official information to become available.
