When you want to know how long you can consume a product, you go to the expiration date. This data indicates that once the limit is passed you can no longer eat it because it poses a health risk. But it should not be confused with foods that include a best before date. These can be taken after that day marked on the package without endangering your life. However, when you open a product, which includes the expiration date on its label and must be kept refrigerated due to its conditions, it is not always easy to know how long it is safe to eat. In these cases they also have a consumption limit date, which is not always indicated on the packaging. For this reason, the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) has shared a list prepared by the European Food Information Council (EUFIC) on how many days you have to continue enjoying products before they spoil and you have to throw them away. . This is very useful information both for not wasting food that can still be eaten and thus being able to save money and not to put your health at risk.
