Housing A non-residential house is for sale in Helsinki – the starting price of 300,000 euros collapsed

The front house, built in 1947, originally went on sale last October.

Helsinki In Herttoniemi, a front house is for sale at a ridiculous price. This is an item to be auctioned, where the starting price of the auction has been set at 500 euros.

The front house, built in 1947, originally went on sale last October. Even then, the sale price was EUR 299,000. Now the highest bid for the house is 11,500 euros.

It is exceptional that the house on the leased plot of land owned by the City of Helsinki on Oravatie is in such poor condition that it is not possible to live in it. The house must also not be demolished. The broker estimates that it is also not worth renovating, as the repair rate would be over 90%.

“The house has undergone three different condition inspections. According to the inspections, the apartment is in demolition condition. A demolition permit has been applied for, but it has not been obtained so far,” Sven Schlegel told Helsingin Sanomat in October.

Back in the fall, Schlegel was optimistic and thought the deals would come as long as the right buyer could be found. However, the house had to be put up for auction and the price has had to be reduced considerably.

The auction ends next Sunday. It will then be clear whether there will be deals: the seller reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.
