No city with a red dot due to the heat over the weekend, in an Italy that has now come out of Charon’s sights. According to the latest update of the bulletin on heat waves of the Minister of Healthwhich monitors 27 provincial capitals, the ‘coolest’ day is today: 19 cities have a green dot (no alert level), while the other 8 have a yellow dot (alert 1). In the following two days, the situation heats up, without ever reaching the maximum alert level 3. Tomorrow, Saturday 28 July, Perugia will have an orange dot (alert 2). On Sunday, 10 provincial capitals will be orange: in addition to Perugia also Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Campobasso, Catania, Palermo, Pescara, Rieti and Rome.
The yellow dot now marks Ancona, Bolzano, Cagliari, Catania, Messina, Palermo, Perugia and Reggio Calabria. Tomorrow Alert 1 will extend to 19 cities: in fact, Bari, Bologna, Campobasso, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Naples, Pescara, Rieti, Rome and Verona also go from green to yellow. Only 6 provincial capitals will remain green on Sunday: Brescia, Civitavecchia, Genoa, Milan, Trieste and Venice.
