Franco Zaffini (Brothers of Italy), president of the Social Affairs and Health Commission of the Senate, said this in a video message sent to the president of the National Association of hospital cardiologists Fabrizio Oliva, on the occasion of the 55th Anmco National Congress, in Rimini from today until May 18th.
“Immediately after the vote for the European elections – Zaffini then announced – there will arrive, as I hope, a very important provision on the health professions, because we must somehow break this prejudice, which I define as trade union, that is, that doctors must all be paid the same I believe that specialists and doctors should be paid by virtue of the commitment they provide to the National Health Service and in this regard you will see that the reform will have important innovations.”
