Foreign investors withdrew R$ 216.904 million from B3 in the session on Thursday (4). On the day, the Ibovespa closed down 2.09%, to 103,412.09 points, with a financial turnover of R$ 35.5 billion.
With the lack of clarity on how the fiscal framework will remain in an election year, the day was one of pressure on Brazilian assets. The index ended at the lowest closing level since November 12 (102,507.01) nearly a year ago. The approval of the PEC dos Precatórios in the Chamber by a margin of only four votes in relation to the minimum required for a constitutional amendment, revealed the difficulties that the government will face, especially when the proposal reaches the Senate, where resistance has been even greater.
The amount is the result of purchases of BRL 54.750 billion and sales of BRL 53.152 billion. In November, foreign investors entered R$ 1.597 billion on the Stock Exchange. In the accumulated result for the year, the inflow is R$ 56.301 billion.
