Fifty cats will be returned to a resident of Krasnodar despite complaints from neighbors
The owner of dozens of cats from Krasnodar will have her pets returned despite the dissatisfaction of her neighbors. The agency became aware of this RIA News.
The animals were taken away from the townswoman by animal rights activists. Having fought into her apartment, the employees found fifty cats inside. Some of whom looked emaciated and needed veterinary help. As it turned out later, the owner does not live in the living space and comes only occasionally to feed the pets.
Volunteers are forced to return the cats because there are no others willing to take them. The animals will be handed over to the owner after they are sterilized. “Currently, 15 males and ten females have been neutered. Everyone is being neutered step by step. After this, everyone will be processed and vaccinated, of course, if there is finance. Twenty-one kittens are undergoing treatment; they have viruses,” the agency’s source shared. Volunteers pay for the procedures with their own funds – all the cat lady’s income goes towards food.
Earlier, residents of one of the houses in Novosibirsk encountered a cat lover. In a one-room apartment, a Russian woman bred more than fifty cats. Moreover, according to the law, you can keep no more than three animals per 12 square meters in an apartment.
