The most prestigious theater, New York. An important location like the Puma Store which is located a few minutes south of Central Park. Williams Racing revealed in the Italian afternoon the livery it will use on the FW46, the single-seaters with which it will take part in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship.
The veils fell at 3.40pm Italian time, showing a look that draws inspiration from the one used last year (some brilliant ideas remain), but revised to accommodate new partners such as Komatsu, finding new spaces for partners confirmed with Gulf.
Grove's car remains with the usual blue base, but shows different shades going from light to dark, without forgetting the now inevitable black, unpainted area, to save a few grams of weight and, why not, hide what will be the new features of the FW46 in key areas from a technical and aerodynamic point of view.

The black remains in the lateral areas of the machine, i.e. the walls of the muzzle, the wings, and the lower part of the bellies. Blue stands out on all the upper surfaces starting from the muzzle. If the first half of the car shows only one predominant shade of blue, in the bonnet it goes from light to dark blue.
The new Komatsu sponsor has been inserted on the nose, on the bellies and on the vertical bulkheads of the rear wing. Gulf, on the other hand, has greater relevance, with its own space between the race number and the sponsors in the first part. In the rear area, however, it has a personalized space just behind the bellies.
What remains is the ingenious positioning of Duracell, that is, covering the airscope in such a way as to resemble a battery as much as possible. The use of two thin lines – one white and one red joined together – to divide the blue color from the carbon black is very interesting, as if it were a zip that separates the dress from the skin.

James Vowles, Team Principal, Williams Racing, said following the livery reveal: “It is a significant milestone to unveil the 2024 livery in an iconic location like New York City. The FW46 has been the focus of the team's attention for many months and there is still a huge commitment from everyone at Grove to deliver our challenger for this year.”
“To build on the momentum from last season, with Alex and Logan we have a driver line-up capable of consistently challenging for points and leading our development for the future.
“Since joining Williams Racing a year ago, I have seen this team come together to overcome a series of challenges and take seventh place in the Constructors' Championship, which has meant a lot to everyone involved. We have also demonstrated at world that we are building the foundations to move forward.”

Alex Albon: “After a very positive year, we hope to be able to build on our progress in 2024, working hard to make good steps forward in terms of performance. We have asked a lot of the team and the factory to get this car where it needs to be, and we've also changed the philosophy of the car slightly, so I'm interested to see if we can improve some of the characteristics it has historically. It will require an adaptation of the driving style, but I'm convinced it will be a change for the better.”
Logan Sargeant: “After unveiling this fantastic livery, I can't wait to get behind the wheel of the FW46 to continue to grow as a driver. I've had a fruitful off-season which has allowed me to prepare both physically and mentally for the year to come. By taking the time to properly reflect on my rookie season, I have learned many lessons and gained experiences that can only benefit me in this new season.”
“I know what my goals are for this year. I will look to build on the progress I have made since joining the Williams Racing family. I intend to contribute more to the team's success. Everyone at Grove has worked tirelessly to deliver the FW46 over the winter break. I can't thank them enough for their hard work and support. Hopefully we can achieve some great results together in 2024.”
