Palms Sports, the organizing body for the “Emirates Warriors” series of mixed martial arts championships, has completed all arrangements to organize the 49th and 50th editions next Friday and Saturday, in the Marina Hall of the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre. The event, which attracts the attention of fans of the game, will witness 24 strong fights, with 12 fights in Each version, with the participation of 48 of the game’s elite champions, international stars, competing to reach the podium.
The most prominent names from the two continents are participating in the 49th edition, dedicated to joint Arab and African fights, fighting for two titles, led by Rani Saada (Palestine), Abdullah Al-Bouchahri (Kuwait), and Jarwis Dia (Cameroon).
While the 50th international edition witnesses the strongest challenges and prominent competitions for 3 different titles, the Japanese Yamato Fujita, the Brazilian Iago Rueiro, and the Jordanian Ali Al-Qaisi stand out.
The organizing committee announced the completion of the fighters’ arrival in Abu Dhabi, along with the referees, with the fight halls being prepared in the best way so that the tournament would emerge in a manner commensurate with the previous successes it had achieved and its achievement of the “50” golden edition.
The tournament organizing committee will hold a press conference to reveal all the details of the event the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, at two o’clock in the afternoon in Abu Dhabi. In addition to the conference, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between Palms Sports and the Wrestling Federation.
For his part, Fouad Darwish, Chairman of the Tournament Organizing Committee and CEO of Palms Sports, congratulated the fans of the “Emirates Warriors” tournament and all the champions who participated in it since the first edition, reaching the 50th edition, and said: The previous successes of the tournament would not have been achieved without the support you provide. The wise leadership of sports and athletes, as well as the security and safety in the UAE and the infrastructure available in it, made Abu Dhabi the capital attractive to the most prominent stars in the world, not only in mixed martial arts, but in all games.
Darwish praised the attention and guidance of Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, President of the Emirati and Asian Federations of Juguesto, First Vice President of the International Federation, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Championship, stressing that he stands behind the success of each of the previous editions through his follow-up, guidance and continuous presence on various occasions.
He added: We will also not forget all the members of the organizing committee, the champions of the game, and the game’s fans, who supported us in our long journey, encouraged us to continue, and wrote us a certificate of success.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Emirates Warriors Championship confirmed that reaching the 50th edition encouraged everyone to redouble their efforts in the previous days so that the tournament would come in a form commensurate with the importance of the event, pointing out that celebrating the golden edition was also a motivational station for more work and giving in the coming journey.
