The deposed Syrian president Bashar Al Assad and his family are in Moscow and have received asylum in Moscow, Kremlin sources confirm to the Russian agencies Tass and Interfax.
Both Al Assad and his closest relatives have received political asylum from Russia “for humanitarian reasons,” according to these same sources.
