He Astillero City Council, on the occasion of Disability Week, collaborates with ASAG in an awareness day that includes videos, debates, workshops and adapted sports, in order to promote inclusion and empathy towards people with disabilities. The activity will be held on Saturday, November 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Boo Civic Center, the City Council reported this Wednesday.
With the aim of educate in values such as equality and solidarity, this day proposes activities that invite attendees to reflect on how disability is an opportunity to build a more just and accessible society. The event, organized by ASAG with the support of the City Council, is suitable for all ages and includes a varied program that includes activities such as debate, creative workshops or adapted sports designed for attendees.
He Mayor of Astillero, Javier Fernández Soberónhas underlined the importance of these initiatives “to see and transform our vision of disability”. In this sense, he has invited all the residents of Astillero to participate in this initiative “so that, together, we can build a more conscious society.”
