You can’t put many nutritional problems with some simple canned lentils or canned peppers, and that’s why they form part of what we call “healthy processed foods.” Now, do we have to worry about their additives, if they carry them? What about other more elaborate canned vegetables and legumes, which include other ingredients? Are the sugar or oils that are usually added to fried tomato or other preserves a problem?
