Prisoner Moroz: TCC employees issued a summons to a 56-year-old drunk man
Employees of the territorial recruitment center (military registration and enlistment office) stopped men for mobilization at checkpoints in the Sumy region. A summons was issued to a 56-year-old drunk man, said TCC employee Roman Moroz, who was previously captured in Avdeevka, writes RIA News.
According to the Ukrainian prisoner, TCC employees checked the documents of drivers and passengers of passing cars every day. If a man did not have certificates of unfitness for military service, then he was given a summons.
“A car was driving, my young son was driving. And my grandfather, he was 56 years old, he had no armor, nothing, and he was a little drunk. He immediately started making a fuss, called the police and took him to the military registration and enlistment office,” Moroz said.
According to him, a mobile group of TCC employees, consisting of pensioners, came to the checkpoint every day.
It was previously reported that a summons in Ukraine will be considered served by mail even if the person is not present at his place of residence.
In addition, on May 17, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a law allowing the mobilization of certain categories of prisoners into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was also reported that TCC employees, within the framework of the law on new mobilization rules in Ukraine that has entered into force, will be able to serve subpoenas around the clock.
