Iberdrola announces the suspension of the electricity supply in many areas with the aim of improving the quality of service
The electricity company Iberdrola announced power outages in towns in many provinces of Spain with the aim of improving the quality of service. The electricity distribution company of the Iberdrola group, i-DE, is carrying out various works that require cuts in the supply to carry out maintenance and improvement work on the different elements that make up the network (lines, transformation centers, substations , etc.).
The first works began to develop during the week of February 19 to 25. Others began to take place last Saturday, February 26, and will conclude this Friday, March 4. From Iberdrola they indicate that the start of the power outage will be informed 24 hours in advance through notifications by SMS and/or email that indicate the expected start and end times of the supply stoppage in the portals affected by it.
The neighborhoods, districts, councils and towns in the Region of Murcia that will be affected by power outages are Abanilla, Águilas, Algezares, Alhama de Murcia, Aljucer, Barrio del Progreso (Murcia), Bejar-Lorca, Beniaján, Cabezo de la Plata, Cañadas de San Pedro, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín, Cieza, Cope, Cuevas de Reyllo, El Palmar, El Puntal, Escucha, Fuente Álamo, Los Garres, Guadalupe, Javalí Nuevo, La Aparecida-La Palma, La Arboleja, La Asomada, La Azohía, La Unión, Lorca, Lorquí, Los Urrutias, Nogalte, Rincón de Benisconia, Rincón de Seca, San Benito de Patiño, San Ginés, San José de la Vega, Sangonera la Seca, Sangonera la Verde, Santomera, Tébar, Torreagüera, Torrealvilla and Zuñiga and Juncosa.
