Nintendo confirms the arrival in 2022 of titles such as Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and Bayonetta 3.
Nintendo has just released its latest financial report for investors. Inside is some interesting information on this year’s game sales and other financial information.
What’s really interesting, though, is the launch schedule for upcoming Switch games that Nintendo has included in the report.
The three most interesting games destined for 2022 are Splatoon 3, Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 And Bayonetta 3. All three have previously been announced but have been shown very little. Even the release of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope seems to be back in 2022.
It looks like next year will be a particularly important year for Nintendo, as Splatoon 2 and Breath of the Wild continue to hold their place in the top ten best-selling games of all time for the company. Gamers are eagerly awaiting the next few chapters.
A couple more titles to add to this vague “2022” time frame are Kirby and the Forgotten Land And Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp. Both are currently set for a “spring of 2022” launch.
The most mysterious part of the report is a game on the list that simply has “TBA” on its launch date. This game is Metroid Prime 4, which according to the report is also a temporary name. It is possible that this date could eventually become 2023.
As for the closest releases, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will arrive on November 19, with Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain to be released on December 3rd. Pokemon Legends: Arceus will arrive on January 28, 2022.
