As scheduled, a few minutes ago Sony officially announced i PS4, PS5 and classic games of past consoles that will be made available to all subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium starting next Tuesday, the May 21st.
It is worth remembering that, unlike the games in the Essential tier (such as those in May), the titles included in the Extra and Premium levels of the subscription will be usable by subscribers as long as they remain in the catalogue, with the average permanence times which are variable, from a few months to even years. Sony usually warns about a month in advance when a title is about to leave the catalogue. For example, we’ve known for some time that as many as 35 games will leave the service next week.
What’s new in PlayStation Plus Extra for May
Let’s start with the new PS4 and PS5 titles which will expand the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog and which will be available both for subscribers to the tier of the same name and those subscribed to the Premium.
