Pacific Fleet: MiG-31 fighter crashed in Kamchatka during a training flight
In the Kamchatka Territory, a MiG-31 fighter crashed during a training flight. This is reported RIA News with reference to the press service of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet).
“On July 4, while performing a planned training flight in the Kamchatka Territory over the waters of the Avacha Bay, a MiG-31 fighter crashed,” the report says.
The Pacific Fleet added that the fighter was flying without ammunition. Search and rescue services of the Pacific Fleet have been sent to the scene of the incident, the crew is being searched.
Earlier it was reported that an Mi-8 helicopter exploded and crashed near the city of Klintsy, bordering Ukraine, in the Bryansk region, and a Su-34 fighter also crashed. The governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz said that the wreckage of equipment damaged several households and clarified information about the victims.
