Apparently not all owners of PS5 enjoyed one of the new features introduced by Sony with theupdate 7.00 of the firmware. The reason? It would produce some game spoilers that many do not want to have.
The innovations introduced by firmware 7.00 are actually many, but the most contested one is the progress bar of the games. For what reason? According to some PlayStation players, knowing the completion percentage of a game is equivalent to having a preview of the same, so Sony should have added the ability to hide this.
Honestly, it is difficult to consider a number a real anticipation, but given the reaction received by some, it is clear that the subject is much debated. Evidently knowing where you are in an adventure could cause someone to lose interest in the game itself. On the other hand, no one has ever complained about knowing the duration of a film in advance or accused a book of revealing in advance when it is about to end due to the dwindling number of pages remaining to read. Of course, we are talking about very different media and particular audiences, so it is natural that sensitivities are also different.
