From January to March 2025, the Gedlich Racing Winter Series will once again be hosted in Portugal and Spain. The seasonal calendar includes a total of seven race weekends in five different circuits on the Iberian peninsula. The GT4 and GT Winter Series program includes two 6-hour races in Portimao and Barcelona.
The season opener will be held in Estoril from January 16th to 19th. The GT Winter Series, GT4 Winter Series and Prototype Winter Series will compete on the former Formula 1 circuit.
A week later, from 23 to 26 January, the same three championships will compete at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao. Both before and after this race weekend, Gedlich Racing will organize test days at the circuit, giving the teams the opportunity to extend their stay in the Algarve and gain further important kilometres.
From January 30th to February 2nd, Portimao will host the first 6-hour race in the history of the Winter Series, in which GT4 and GT Winter Series cars will compete together. The season opener of the Formula Winter Series will also take place this weekend.
Racing action
The season will continue from 13 to 16 February at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia. With 10,000 fans, this weekend, which will feature cars from the GT, GT4 and Formula Winter Series, promises to be a standout event on the racing calendar.
From Valencia we move on to Motorland Aragon. From 27 February to 2 March, the GT4, the Prototype and the Formula Winter Series will compete on the circuit near Alcaniz.
The following weekend, from 6 to 9 March, the GT4, Prototype and GT season finale will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. A week later, from 13 to 16 March, the second 6-hour race for GT cars will be held at the same location, plus the season finale of the Formula Winter Series.
In the 2025 season, participation in track races will be free. A live streaming is also planned.
