The White House announced on Tuesday that US President Joe Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky while they are in France. White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Biden will discuss with Zelensky “the current situation in Ukraine, and how we can continue and strengthen our support for Ukraine.”
Zelensky and Biden are scheduled to participate in the commemoration of the Allied landing in Normandy 80 years ago in World War II. The Elysee Palace said yesterday, Tuesday, that French President Emmanuel Macron will receive Zelensky at the Elysee Palace the day after tomorrow, Friday. The Elysee Palace added that the two presidents will discuss the situation in Ukraine. Biden and Zelensky are scheduled to meet during the G7 summit scheduled from June 13 to 15 in the Puglia region in southern Italy.
