Jamie Chadwick led from start to finish at Silverstone, keeping his record of 100% wins in the 2022 W Series season intact. He streak that becomes even six consecutive successes if you also take 2021 into account.
After a brief shower of rain in the middle of the race, which threatened to move the race, Chadwick managed the situation very well, going to impose herself with a huge margin on her pursuers, increased by a contact on the last lap by the two colleagues who they kept company on the podium.
Emma Kimilainen had to defend herself when Abbi Pulling made a last effort to get back within half a second of the Finn in the final two laps. After having entered the Kimilainen at Stowe, on the penultimate lap, Pulling hit the rival at Vale, ending up sending both of them into a spin.
However, both cars suffered minimal damage, so the two managed to get back on track and keep their place on the podium: Kimilainen finished second under the checkered flag, while Pulling had to stand up to Fabienne Wohlwend to keep the third place.
Wohlwend, who was third at the start of the race before going off the track, had to settle for fourth, but still achieved her best result of the season.

Alice Powell’s race got off to a disastrous start, stalling on the grid at the start of the formation lap. Even though she managed to restart, she was unable to retake her place in third place before the first line of the safety car, and this resulted in a 10 second stop and go for her.
Powell made a comeback to 14th place, but her title chances took a hit as Chadwick won and Pulling third.
Beitske Visser took fifth place after battling the top positions, and finished with a margin over Jessica Hawkins, who made an impressive start and jumped to sixth place.
Abbi Eaton won in the fight for seventh place at the end of the race with Belen Garcia, while Nerea Marti and Sarah Moore completed the points.
Marta Garcia saw her race ruined by a contact with Belen Garcia on lap three, reporting damage to the front wing for which she was exposed to the black and orange flag, which forced her to return to the pits, being lapped twice.
