Vodafone Spain will raise its rates by 3% on average from January 1, 2025

Vodafone Spain, controlled by the British fund Zegona since the middle of the year, has begun to inform its clients that it will apply an average increase in the 3% on your rates starting January 1, 2025.

The telecom has indicated that, “like every year, automatically and transparently”, it will update its price plans based on the average CPI between September 2023 and October 2024, which stood at 2.95%.

The objective of the telecom with these increases is to “ensure the necessary resources” to maintain the levels of investment in network infrastructures and the “maximum quality of service”, according to company sources told Europa Press.

Along these lines, the increase in Vodafone Spain rates will mean an increase of 1.5 euros on average for its customers, although the final price increase will depend on the contracted services.

In another instance, Movistar also yesprices will rise an average of 5.2% starting January 13, 2025. The company has defended that these increases are due to the increase in costs and the investment in networks they need.
