According to the exit survey of the newspaper El Financiero, Claudia Sheinbaum, presidential candidate of Morena, PT and PVEM, is emerging as the winner of the 2024 presidential election.

Alejandro Moreno, director of Surveys and Opinion Studies at El Financiero, announced the first results after the closure of polling stations throughout the country. According to Moreno, the survey projects Claudia Sheinbaum as the undisputed winner of the presidential race.
Moreno explained that There is no margin of error that would cast doubt on Sheinbaum’s projection as a winner.. The data collected shows a clear trend in their favor, which strengthens confidence in the results obtained.
Among the voters who went to the polls on June 2, a diversity of motivations is observed. A 26% said they had voted for one of the presidential candidates because of her ideas and proposals, while 29% were looking for a change.
