A passenger vaccinated against COVID-19 was returning home to Germany after a vacation in Turkey and died due to coronavirus during the flight. About it writes German newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt.
It is reported that this happened on Monday, October 25, on a Pegasus Airlines flight from Istanbul to Hamburg. A 51-year-old man was found dead in a boarding chair upon arrival in Germany.
According to the newspaper, before departure, the traveler presented a certificate of vaccination, but the PCR test, made as part of a forensic medical examination, turned out to be positive. Representatives of the air carrier expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
In August, on a plane en route to Moscow from the Kyrgyz city of Tamchy, a passenger died after an epileptic seizure. The liner urgently landed in Nizhny Novgorod 20 minutes after the pilot gave an alarm. An ambulance team was on duty at the airport. However, despite the prompt response, the passenger died.
