The unemployment rate in countries that make up the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) was 4.9% in February, repeating the level of January and very close to the record low of 4.8%, according to a published OECD report this Wednesday, 17th.
In February, the unemployment rate remained unchanged compared to the previous month in 16 OECD countries, rose in another six nations and fell in ten.
However, the unemployment rate among young people aged 15 to 24 in the OECD peaked at 10.9% in February, an increase of 0.5 percentage points compared to January, the report details.
