State Department: Russia is spreading “propaganda” about Ukraine’s involvement in the terrorist attack
Ukraine is not involved in the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow, said Matthew Miller, head of the US State Department press service. Writes about this TASS.
According to him, Moscow is spreading “propaganda and disinformation” about the involvement of the Ukrainian side in the terrorist attack. He believes that in this way the Russian authorities are trying to “justify” the conduct of a special military operation (SVO).
Earlier, the head of the press service of the White House National Security Council, Adrienne Watson, said that Ukraine had nothing to do with the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall; the Islamic State bore full responsibility for the attack (IS, a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation).
A few hours after the Crocus terrorist attack, Watson said that Washington conveyed information to Moscow about preparations for a terrorist attack, relying on the practice of “mandatory warning” in such situations.
