The Tverskoy Court of Moscow has extended the term of the preventive measure in the form of detention of Artur Stetsenko, the husband of the former Deputy Minister of Education Marina Rakova, in a fraud case. This was reported to “Lente.ru” in the press service of the court.
At the request of the investigation, a resolution was issued to extend the arrest period for the person involved in the case until March 5, 2022.
Earlier, on December 2, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the ex-Deputy Minister of Rakova had been charged with a new fraud in a criminal case on the fictitious employment of her husband. According to the investigation, she, in the post of general director of the Fund for New Forms of Education Development, issued Stetsenko using forged documents, who from 2017 to 2019 received nine million rubles as a salary, without fulfilling his labor obligations.
Rakova was provided with forged time sheets, payrolls and accounting documents with inaccurate information about Stetsenko’s performance of his official duties and additional work.
Stetsenko was arrested on October 6 for a period until December 5.
On November 19, Rakova was charged with a new episode: fraud related to fictitious employment of people at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Civil Service (RANEPA). She does not admit her guilt.
