Some time ago it was confirmed that finally The Fantastic Four will be joining the MCU, and among the actors that stand out we have neither more nor less than Pedro Pascual, who will be Reed Richards to lead this group of characters that could be considered the new generation. However, there were roles that have been omitted such as the Silver Surfer, of which in fact it was said in leaks that a woman would give life to the character, and that is exactly what will happen with the new confirmation.
The sources have mentioned to the media deadline that the winner of the Emmy, Julia Garnerwill play the iconic comic book character. Vanessa Kirby is Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn is Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is Ben Grimm (aka The Thing). Director of WandaVision, Matt Shakman, directs this project from a script Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, Eric Pearson and Ian Springer. Production will begin this summer and the film will be released on July 25, 2025.

Editor's note: I don't know how people are going to take Silver Surfer being played by a woman, but it will be fun to see the reactions online. There is nothing wrong with changing the gender, but many followers are quite conservative with these delicate, quote-unquote topics.
