Maybe Flitsmeister handles every trip well for you, but you will just notice that your partner drives your car with a fine on a regular basis. Or the kids need the phone during the ride Paw Patrol. Or the company's shared van often fills the public purse. For moments like this, it would be useful if Flitsmeister would always work in the car, even when the app is turned off. And exactly that is now possible with this Flitsmeister Dash, which works completely independently.
Flitsmeister Dash shows all warnings on a round display. The device itself is connected to the internet, so even if the driver does not have a Flitsmeister, the Dash continues to work. The thing warns you about speed cameras, section checks, traffic jams and upcoming danger. You can also use the screen to report a stationary vehicle or a new speed camera.
If you are in a parking space for which you have to pay, you can arrange this via the device. You also get a holder for the ventilation grille and one for the dashboard. This way you can choose where you stick the Dash. You will receive a charging cable. This time it is USB-C. Officially, the use of such a Dash is prohibited in Germany, for example, so that is something to take into account.
How much does the Flitsmeister Dash cost?
The Dash connects to the internet via its own esim. You cannot put your own SIM card in the phone or connect the device to your car's hotspot. So there is no other option than to take out a subscription with Flitsmeister. You pay 149.99 euros once for the device and then 9.99 euros every month for the subscription.
With the subscription, the Dash has unlimited 4G connection, but you cannot use it as a hotspot. Too bad for the kids in the back on the iPad. Not cheap, but given the fines in the Netherlands you may have earned it back quickly.
