The Professional League held its regular general assembly meeting for the season 2021-2022, with a remote visual communication system, during which the development of work mechanisms to upgrade the system was approved and discussed, according to the association’s strategic plan 2020-2030.
The meeting was chaired by Abdullah Nasser Al-Junaibi, President of the Professional League, in the presence of members of the Association’s Board of Directors, Dr. Khaled Muhammad Abdullah, Business Development Adviser, Hamda Abdullah Al Shamsi, Director of the Legal Department of the Football Association, and representatives of professional clubs.
Al-Junaibi thanked the wise leadership, which put sports and athletes at the center of their attention, and was the best support and helper for overcoming all important stages and stations.
Al-Junaibi expressed his happiness at meeting the members of the General Assembly, stressing that the professional clubs and the sponsors of the Association are the true partners of success with whom the Association has fought along the path of success since the first year.
The meeting was opened with the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting, and the appointment of three members to review the minutes of the meeting. Salem Muhammad Al-Junaibi, a member of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company, and Dr. Adnan Ali Al Hosani, a member of the Board of Directors of the Khorfakkan Football Club Company, and Dr. Hassan Suhail were appointed as a member The Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Football Club Company,
Dr. Khaled Muhammad Abdullah, Business Development Adviser to the Association, presented activity reports for the 2021-2022 sports season, which included what had been accomplished during the past season in various technical, organizational, marketing, and administrative fields.
During the meeting, the appointment of Deloitte & Touche as an independent external auditor was approved to perform the task of auditing the financial statements of the Association for the year ending June 30, 2022, in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
The mechanism for distributing the Association’s returns to the members of the General Assembly for the 2022-2023 sports season and the following seasons was also approved.
