The Court of Accounts has opened proceedings to the Generalitat Valenciana and the public company Societat Valenciana Fira València, SA for alleged accounting irregularities. Specifically, the supervisory body investigates the payment of the salaries of six executives who would have charged more than the law marks, as well as diets, accessories and fertilizer of extras and mileage of the entire workforce, as eldiario.es of legal and institutional sources could have known. The irregularities come from the conversion of Feria Valencia in a public entity during the PSPV and Compromís government, specifically on May 6, 2023. That month, Carlos Mazón would win the elections and form government with Vox. After becoming a regional company and turning all its workers into public employees, Feria Valencia continued to pay the same salaries, six of which far exceed the maximum that a type of this type can pay that would be about 65,000 euros. The Court of Accounts considers the salaries of the entity are void full and studies forcing the entity to return them. These undue wages would be those equivalent to 2023 and 2024, although currently irregularity would continue to be produced.
