The British Luke Littler, 17, is proclaimed the youngest champion in the history of the World Darts Championship

The English dart throwing prodigy Luke Littler has become the youngest world champion in history in his discipline, with barely 17 yearsby beating the Dutchman Michael Van Gerwen 7-3, this Friday in London.

The English phenomenon, who ended up crying with emotion, thus improved the precocity record for a world champion, held precisely by his Dutch rival in the final, who had won the first of his three world titles in 2014, when he was 24 years old.
