Helsinki The Flow Festival in Suvilahti in August will give up red meat and poultry in its food offering. The same policy has been taken on 16-18. June Sideways Festival in the Helsinki Ice Rink area.
There is at least one vegan portion on the menu at each restaurant on the Flow Festival. Several restaurants also offer completely vegan menus. It is also promised to add non-alcoholic beverages to the beverage offer.
“Flow is looking constantly new ways to make the festival more sustainable. Food production is one of the biggest emitters of greenhouse gases worldwide, and on average animal-based nutrition is particularly burdensome for the environment, ”says the festival’s CEO. Suvi Kallio justify the decision in a bulletin.
