Now, the way to share games through Steam is very simple and I’m going to explain how to start a family and add friends.

Steam: Start a Family Group
To start your family group you must access your Steam client and, by the way, have it updated to the most recent version.
In the menu, select the Steam option and then choose settings. Under Friends and chat, you will find Family. There you can join or create one.
When you create a family, you choose a name and then it appears in your options. After that, you are prompted to add members.
To add your family members, they must be among your friends on the platform. Otherwise, you will not be able to add them.
Those who are invited will receive a notification which they will have to accept from their respective client by going to Steam menu, settings and then family. After logging in, they will have to check their email, follow a link and that user will be able to use all the games in your library.
Benefits of Steam Family Groups
Among the benefits that those who have access to a Steam family group can find are games to share, cloud saving, achievements and also their workshop.
Now, those who organize the group can set parental controls, restrict access to the store, community and chat with friends, set play time, view reports of play times and much more.
One thing you should keep in mind is that if you leave a group, you will have to wait a year to join another. Keep in mind that video game publishers can choose whether or not their title can be included in their program, so if there comes a time when a game does not appear in the shared list, it may be for that very reason.
On the other hand, you can also consider that if one of the members of the family group cheats in a video game, not only can they block him, but also you, so you should think carefully about who you end up adding.
