Sochi defeated CSKA in the RPL match

Sochi defeated Moscow’s CSKA 4-1 in the 14th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.

The match took place at the Fisht stadium in Sochi. The hosts opened the scoring already in the third minute of the match. Sochi midfielder Artur Yusupov distinguished himself. In the first half, Sochi upset the guests’ goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev twice more. The double was scored by the Sochi forward Mateo Casierra.

CSKA played one goal only in the 57th minute through the efforts of Kazakh midfielder Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov. In the 87th minute Igor Yurganov from Sochi set the final score – 4: 1 in favor of the home team.

Thanks to the victory, “Sochi” is ahead of the capital “Dynamo” and occupies the second line in the standings of the Russian championship. Now the team of Alexander Tochilin has 27 points. Zenit, the leader in the RPL, has 29 points and a match in reserve.
