Snapchat Camera for Chrome can enable Snap’s famous AR lenses right on your computer’s webcam. You can use them for video calls, live broadcasts, video recordings and more.
Recall that Snap had a desktop camera app that included AR folders, but removed it last year. Now, Snapchat Camera brings augmented reality lenses to PC in a different way: through a Google Chrome extension.

Unlike the old app for pc, you will now have to sign in with a Snapchat account to use the lenses. You can also use the custom lenses you create.
How to install and start using Snapchat Camera for Chrome?
- Install the extension Snapchat Camera from Chrome Web Store.
- Log in with your account of snapchat
- In the camera settings of your chosen web app, select Snapchat Camera like camera.
- Click on the Snapchat Camera icon in the menu chrome extensions to open the extensions panel.
- Select a lens and start using Snapchat lenses in Google Chrome.
Although it is a fact that these Augmented Reality glasses can liven up a conversation with friends on Discord, I find it difficult for a frog, crybaby or bald effect to work for a work meeting.
