Party ruined
There is not only the party – unfortunately – on the weekend of the Italian GP at Mugello. In fact, Saturday morning on the Tuscan circuit began in the name of sadness for a shameful and unspeakable episode which was reported directly by the social accounts of the splendid Scarperia and San Piero track: i toilets for disabled people located near the Curva Scarperia were vandalised and completely destroyed by some thugs during the night.
A serious fact that inevitably ruins the atmosphere of joy and celebration that characterizes this event – among the most anticipated and loved of the entire MotoGP calendar by riders, professionals and fans – and which has been in the air since Thursday. Among so many respectable enthusiasts there are evidently some people who don’t deserve to frequent such a context.
The Circuit’s statement
Via the official Instagram profile the Circuit expressed its disappointment at the incidentreleasing a short statement: “A truly sad episode: the disabled toilets and public showers near the Curva Scarperia were so brutally vandalized tonight. We were forced to close them. A damage that penalizes the entire tribe of the Italian Grand Prix“. Everyone’s hope – obviously – is that episodes of this kind will not be repeated in these last two days and that those responsible for what happened during the night will soon be identified.
