Its purpose is to validate the document drawn up after eight weeks of arduous negotiations between the three parties.
Once the procedures within the three formations have been completed, the coalition agreement will be formally signed on Tuesday and that the Bundestag, the federal Parliament, will elect Olaf Scholz as the new federal chancellor on Wednesday, so that then he was sworn in with his team of ministers before the federal president, Frank Walter Steinmeier.
