Earlier it was reported that the United States will close the sky for aircraft from Russia. “I announce that we are joining our allies in closing American airspace to all Russian flights,” US President Joe Biden said during a speech to Congress.
Prior to this, European countries and Canada closed their airspace for Russian aircraft against the backdrop of a special operation in Ukraine. As a response, the Russian authorities have restricted flights for airlines from 36 countries.
