Pensions, revaluations at 1.6% and not at 1.7
Pensions, new increases arriving! With the 2022 the revaluation of social security allowances was triggered: 100% for amounts up to four times the minimum treatment; 90% for amounts between four and five times the minimum treatment; 75% for amounts exceeding five times the minimum treatment. Checks from January 2022 should theoretically be revalued at 1.7 percent.
The calculations on new checks produce these amounts: pensions from 1500 euros will go to 1,525.50 euros, those from 2000 to 2,034 euros, those from 2,500 to 2,541.76 euros, those from 3,000 to 3,048.33 euros. And again: those from 3,500 euros go to 3,554.70 euros, those from 4000 euros to 4,061.08 euros, treatments from 4,500.00 euros rise to 4,567.45 euros and those from 5,000 euros rise to 5,073.83 euros. But in fact, as INPS has made known, to ensure immediate recalculation of checks, the calculation for the first two months will be based on the revaluation set for October 2021: at 1.6 percent.
The Mef, on the other hand, set the share at 1.7 per cent. So for the first two months, those of January 2022 and February 2022, the social security checks will have a lower amount than that communicated in the slip which is already available before the disbursement of the checks which will start already at the end of this month. As a result, a new pension increase will come in March 2022.
