The driver from Mazarrón will start on Sunday from the first position on the grid at the Le Mans circuit
Pedro Acosta was having a hard time adapting to the intermediate category of motorcycling, but the rider from Mazarrón is beginning to show what he is capable of. This Saturday he set the absolute Moto2 record at Le Mans, which helped him get his first pole position in the category and start this Sunday from first position.
Pedro Acosta continues to climb in Moto2 and it is that until this Saturday, his best classification had been in tenth position. The ‘Tiburón de Mazarrón’ already gave a good performance in Austin, but a fall during the race deprived him of showing his performance. During this weekend, the pilot dominated a large part of the practice sessions and with this ‘pole’ he ensures the best place from which to start Sunday’s race.
