Thirty more days have gone by in the 2021/2022 NBA season, and because of this, as usual, the league has revealed the Players of the Month, corresponding to the February games, with those chosen being Luka Doncić of the Dallas Mavericks and DeMar DeRozan of the chicago bulls.
Doncic, Slovenian shooting guard, who was recently selected to his third all-star consecutive at just 23 years old, he has been unstoppable, averaging 34.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 8.8 assists, with the Mavericks winning 7 of 10 games in the last month.
Doncic’s excellence has been a fundamental factor for Dallas to be in a position to qualify directly for the postseason, ranking fifth in the Western Conference, with a record of 37 wins and 25 losses.

the reborn
In his first season with the Bulls, DeRozan has been reborn, reaching his best form in years, averaging 34.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and Chicago winning games and losing 5 in the last 30 days.
The Bulls are second in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 39 wins and 23 losses, a game and a half behind the Miami Heat, which occupies the first position.

Among the players who were also nominated for Player of the Month were from the West were: Devin Booker (Phoenix), Nikola Jokić (Denver), Ja Morant (Memphis) and Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota), while from the East: Bam Adebayo ( Miami), Jarrett Allen (Cleveland), Wendell Carter Jr. (Orlando), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia) and Pascal Siakam (Toronto).
