Juarez City.- A municipal police officer who was on his day off was shot along with another person who lost his life.
The attack took place on Caucho and José Maria Morelos streets in the Insurgentes neighborhood.
A man was killed at the scene and the officer was injured; he was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The identity of the agent was not revealed, only that he was on his day off.
This is the first murder of this Wednesday and the 85th intentional homicide of this month.
