Mugello, flat calm and lots of water
The rainy day at Mugello ruined the teams’ plans, especially those who most need to try new things to try to catch up with the others in the future. Obviously among these there is not the Ducatiwhich dictates the pace and was certainly the team that least needed today’s tests, but in the words of general director Gigi Dall’Igna however, you can feel the regret for a wasted day.
Dall’Igna’s words
”We had some new material to try both with the riders who ride the official bikes and with those who use those from previous yearsbut it rains so I think we will have to do it in the future”, this is the comment of the Venetian.
”How was our evening yesterday? It was still challenging because we had to prepare the work program for today’s tests, even though the drivers and teams obviously deserved to do something else”.
No Ducati took to the track, with the exception of Franco Morbidelli’s, who completed eight laps on a track that was still damp due to the rain that fell until dawn.
