Shoppers have criticized supermarket Asda for a publicity photo of a plus-size model wearing oversized lingerie. The corresponding discussion unfolded under the publication of the brand in Instagram.
The picture posted on the network model Olivia Campbell (Olivia Campbell) poses in a pink lace set, panties pulled high and showing fat folds in the waist, as well as cellulite on the stomach and thighs. The post got over a thousand likes.
Subscribers began to discuss the appearance of Campbell in the comments. They noted that things are small for a body-positive model, and scolded the brand for its irresponsible approach to shooting in the comments. “No, it’s beautiful lingerie, but it just doesn’t fit this beautiful girl! Please dress your models in sizes that really fit them”, “She must be so uncomfortable, and as for panties, there are no words at all”, “I am for promoting positive and different physiques, but underwear does not fit her size! ”,“ It would be great if the models starred in the right clothes, ”they were indignant.
Earlier in February, it was reported that Adidas had released a bare-breasted advertisement of various women. The Polish division of Adidas has published a series of photographs showing naked women whose faces are cropped in the pictures. On the posted frames, only the bare breasts of models of different sizes and shapes are visible. The promo is dedicated to the release of the widest collection of women’s sports tops in the history of the brand.
