Look Back will have a new anime adaptation, the story that is based on a one-shot by Tatsuki Fujimoto, will be produced by Studio Durian and a new trailer along with a poster reveal the release date of the neat gem from director Kiyotaka Oshiyama.
Look Back will premiere on June 28, 2024, so summer will start in a beautiful way. The installment released a trailer and a poster that focus on the protagonists Kyomoto Fujino and Ayumu Fujino played by Mizuki Yoshida and Yumi Kawai who make their debut as voice actresses.
The beautiful advance allows us to see the most substantial part of the girls' path, from when they hold hands in childhood and contrast distantly, to the moment when they share time and affection. The end is also glimpsed, but perhaps that implies only the beginning.
The music director is Haruka Nakamura and he chose “Light Song” which can be seen softly in the background of the trailer and belongs to Urara (The Apothecary Diaries second opening).

Studio Durian is in charge of the animation and Avex Pictures will be the one to distribute Look Back.

“Director Kiyotaka Oshiyama, a monstrous animator known to all anime enthusiasts, is directing this adaptation. “I, as an anime fan, look forward to seeing this work come to life.”

What is Look Back about?
Look Back is a one-shot written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The story focuses on a pair of girls as they take off and grow as manga artists. The girls are very different and also have different motives, purposes and abilities to carry out their activities, together they manage to take great steps towards the place they want to reach, however, the chiaroscuros of their personalities will permeate every moment of their lives that are interwoven with resolution.
