In Russia, the total volume of purchases by companies with state participation from self-employed people in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to over 2.2 billion rubles. Compared to the same period in 2023, this figure increased by 160%, and the number of those who entered into supply contracts increased by 1.5 times and reached almost 2.9 thousand people. The SME Corporation reported this to Izvestia on April 16.
“The extension of the preferences that small and medium-sized businesses have to the self-employed has simplified the procedures for participation in procurement by the largest customers under 223-FZ and helped ensure an increase in the volume of purchases from them,” said Alexander Isaevich, General Director of the SME Corporation.
The largest increase in the volume of purchases from the self-employed was observed in the Kursk region, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk and Kaliningrad regions. The maximum increase in procurement volumes was recorded in such areas as support services related to financial intermediation and insurance services, professional, scientific and technical services, legal and accounting services, services in the field of creativity, art and entertainment, and specialized construction work.
According to the SME Corporation, from 2019 to the first quarter of 2024, the largest customers entered into procurement contracts with almost 14 thousand self-employed people, their total amount exceeded 14.7 billion rubles.
Earlier, on January 30, it was reported that in 2023, self-employed Russians provided large state-owned companies with goods and services worth 7.2 billion rubles. The indicator exceeded the level of 2022 by more than twice. At the same time, the most in demand in the procurement system of the largest customers from the self-employed were auxiliary services related to financial intermediation and insurance, as well as advertising services and market research work.
